This is a very sexy fedora. It is not my first one, nor my best one, but for the price it is very much worth it. It is a very well shaped and made fedora. I would say to anyone looking to wear one for their first time or for a costume this is a great way to go. The only way I would say to get something else is if you want to do it right and get a beaver skin one. I actually prefer Stetson, but they are alot more pricey.

The sizing listed is inaccurate...although I measured the inside of one of my husband's hats and orderd a size medium for him, it was too small.

I made the mistake of ordering this hat as a gift for my husband ahead of time. By the time I gifted it to him, he tried it on, etc. the time for this company's refunds/exchanges had elapsed by about 30 days.

Now, all I'd like to do is exchange it for the next size up. I'm not asking the company to refund any money...in fact, I offered to pay the return shipping both ways. I know I'm outside the days specified in their policy, but seriously, they won't even try to work with me on this to simply exchange one hat for another. Even Target (who doesn't have the greatest return policy in the world) is more flexible with their returns than this Amazon seller.

So now I'm stuck with a hat that doesn't fit my husband...Anyone want to buy it, please contact me (mo3insd at gmail dot com). I'll give you a good deal since I can't do anything else with it and I'm certainly not going to give this company any more of my business. Too bad...the hat really is pretty nice, but a company nowadays that won't even try to make the customer happy is pretty sad.

Great looking product and great quality. It was a little stiff at the original purchase. After a couple of wears the hat started to flex more. This was the type of hat my grandfather wore. A simple must have for anyone that is fashionable aware.

The shipping was INCREDIBLY SLOW. I ordered two hats on August 5th and recieved them August 16th. However, as a hat enthusiast, the quality here for the price is very good. It runs quite true to size, the quality of the wool is a little stiff when you first take it out of the box but like all Scala hats, it will soften up quite nicely and stand up to a lot of abuse. I highly advise anyone looking for an Indiana Jones/MadMen kind of fedora to purchase this hat. They normally retail for around $70 in a regular brick-and-mortar store and even higher from a retailer at a convention or faire, such as Blonde Swan. Buy it.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it! I have to say he does look dapper. If one likes this style, this is a great hat to own.
