I purchased two of these parasols with the intention of placing them in strategic places in my garden as shade for some potted plants. They worked well for this purpose and looked very nice. I knew they would last for one or two summers only but for the price, it's worth it. The handle is quite well made and sturdy and the overall construction is quite good. The umbrella material itself is rice paper as you would expect. They clearly state on the description that the umbrella you receive may not look like the one in the picture so I can't complain, but the picture does give the impression that the umbrella will be brightly colored. Mine weren't; the colors are quite muted and a completely different design. All in all though - a good product for a costume or for a younger child to play with. If I had been planning on using this umbrella as a sun shade for myself, I'd have been a little disappointed and probably would have returned them, but for my purpose, they worked great!

Well, for 5 dollars I cant really complain of the quality, however, it seems stable and will be useful in my photography usage. ALTHOUGH, this image shows a completely different umbrella than i recieved. The image shows a translucent paper with red, pink, blue, green, yellow design and large blue birds. The only thing that resembles this is the wrapping it came in. The actual umbrella under the wrapping is White paper with some pink flowers on it. Be warned!

It is So Beautiful, But Its Rice Paper I wish the product would of said that i wouldnt of bought it. Rice paper Falls a part at the drop of a Hat, I really wanted Silk, Its Not As Pretty as It Shows But It is Pretty enough. Im going to have to give it a good coat of clear coat to keep it intacted. Im keeping it But You Companies need to Put up What it is made of so we know before we order.
