I bought this to use at lunch time walking out in the sun. It is very light, the material is not opaque so sunlight gets in but keeps the heat off my head. It's all wood and delicate material, so be careful with it. But, the price is right, it does the job and it's very feminine - unlike an ugly umbrella.

I bought this parasol for my wedding since it had my colors in it. When I received this it was perfect, the only problem is it was a little hard to open up all the way. Otherwise, this parasol is awesome and very pretty and sturdy.
