Description

The generosity of Elvis Presley has been well-documented, but no one before has focused on his favorite gift of choice: a shiny new Cadillac. Now, candid and personal interviews with many of the recipients of these automobiles and other extraordinary gifts paint a touching and funny portrait of a man who continues to be cherished by millions. Features Elvis' original drummer, D.J. Fontana; back-up singers Gordon Stoker of the Jordanaires and Myrna Smith of the Sweet Inspirations; personal nurse Marian Cocke; longtime girlfriend Linda Thompson; karate instructor Kang Rhee; Cadillac salesmen Joey Abel and Ernie Barrasso; personal assistant Jerry Schilling with Over 200 photos of Elvis during different periods of his life, including many never before seen from private collections.

5THE KING OF GENEROSITY.  Feb 27, 2004
This is a excellent documentary describing how giving the worlds greatest entertainer was during his very short lifetime .Elvis was a man who in essence had an incredibly kind heart and a love for his fans like no other entertainer before or since. His shortcomings as a human being have been just as well documented . It just goes to show how human he really was , a divine interlacing of good and bad.Ive always been proud to be a fan of Elvis Presley and this documentary makes me even prouder. This is a brilliant documentary , the makers should feel very proud for giving Elvis fans a futher insight into the complex life of the King.

5This one WOWS people  Aug 11, 2008 By Thomas A. Crain "Tom Crain The Coffee Tree Books & Brew"
The response to the video is as amazing as the book! People come out of the woodwork who have an interest in it or the book: Elvis & The Blue Moon Boys. A cousin of a Cadillac recipient, friends or relatives of DJ Fontana, people with ties to one of the band or Elvis, even a Mensa member who's sister was taken to her prom by Elvis. They all love it!

4From The Kindness Of His Heart  Aug 10, 2007 By Ernie R. McHone
Elvis Presley was a very generous person. He would have given the shirt from his back, had someone needed it. In this nice little gem of a documentary we hear stories from many including Linda Thompson, Jerry Schilling and Gordon Stoker of the Jordanaires. If you've never appreciated Mr. Presley's impact on our culture, this documentary will lead you to the light. We miss you Elvis. Come back to us.

Highly Recommended!
